Default Which species of bosses drop the best green?

I think the bound spirits/constructs drop the best caster greens, the Kaolin staves and Koosun's fire staff is so good. The titans' are also nice.

best advice would be to look up on wiki and decide from there - asking that type of question will only get multiple answers as each player uses diff greens. Also these days greens dont really do much for players as most can be replicated with golds and replicating a green can be a lot easier and faster than trying to get a boss to drop his/her damn weapon tho there are exceptions - hit grenths footprint and you see a few exceptions where a boss drops greens faster than you could drop your pants ( one weekend messing there i ended up with a ton of greens which i gave away as they were quite crap lol )
Thats about the only advice i can give

should be moved to "Ask a dmb question and get a bumb answer" Thread

there are no better greens and no boss drops better than others, you can try millions times to farm a single boss and he maybe will drop only once his green.

Check the unique item list, click on the "List of xxx unique items" link for xxx = the profession that you need a green for. See which green has the stats you like and kill the boss that has it until it drops.

As mentioned before, there is no "best green" from a certain "species". It just depends what stats you need. If you're talking about skins, it's a matter of your own preferences.

Ya, Wiki is your best best for finding greens. There is so many of them, I can't count. Best thing to do is goto Wiki and search for them and the have pics for them as well.

The question is kinda phrased weird, for example theres not a "specie" that drops all sundering 15^50 fortitude weapons and 20/20 wand/focuses, and theres not a specie that drops +7 armor v50% +45 stance focuses and zealous +5 hammers of mastery to compare it with. For every useful or badass drop there's something lame to balance it out usually.

That said, the Corsairs drop some decent loot across the board, the only really dinky ones being bosun moti's water focus and risen's smiting wand. The necro has a +15-1 offhand, the mesmer's staff is really a really good double 20%HCT dom staff, they drop a decent zealous scythe, an accessible vampiric sword(most other vmp swords are in out of the way or hard to get to places), a decent command shield, a badass looking set of crippling daggers, chiggen's shortbow is a little lame with the -5 energy, but still a usable rapid fire vamp weapon with expertise, and aslin's walking stick is a skin you can't otherwise get with decent stats.

By Comparison, the construct stuff may look badass, but it's just a bunch of platinum junk with crappy mods. only really good ones are the rit wand, and maybe the fire staff(if you don't care about the single 20% hct, which with fire, you should)

Likewise the only good titan green(excluding the foundry) is the vamp daggers from the beetle thing, and ruby dags are ugly... exuro's staff looks ok, and it's the only bedlam staff, but it's stats suck for casting. There is a necro that drops an ok looking dead scepter with serviceable stats, but it's still not very good...

There's only one wurm boss that drops greens, and it's a pretty badass sundering hammer, Jormungaand's Thunder.

Also Plant bosses drop some shiny stuff, a few 40/40 staves, zealous and vamp daggers, a decent echovald strength shield, decent wands and offhands of various flavors(most with 10-20%HSR and +5 energy or health) but not much by way of spears...

The Naga also drop a few neat things, eliptical staves with usable(but not my preferred double hct) stats of various stats, a furious sword, and a vamp bow.

"Best" is in the eye of the beholder.

This question has no answer other than that which you can give yourself.
